Femme Fatales

Join us this Friday as we open “Femme Fatales“, a new collection of original art by Michael Croteau. Michael’s chilling yet beautiful style is both captivating & spooky, we love it!!! Come meet Michael at the opening from 5-7(8)pm and check out our small but lovely art walk in the U District.

Join us for Goddess, a celebration of the divine feminine. With the Summer Solstice creeping up quickly we will be celebrating Litha and honoring Goddesses from around the globe through the art of Julia Y ( whose Nematona is shown above), Laura Cameron, Merlyn Ahern, Lis Wright Ivec, Jasmine Collins, Tess Csorba, Oliver Hyde, Naomi Sanchez and more…

We just got a beautiful batch of Litha candles by Arcane Arts now Altar craft candles made especially for celebrating the Summer Solstice.

The show opens 5-8pm Friday, June 19th and runs thru July 16th.

Ad Astra

Celebrating the cosmos is the theme of this month’s art show “Ad Astra”. With all of the amazing astronomical events and worldly troubles these days this felt just right, reaching to the stars and astral bodies for inspiration & guidance. Striving for success through struggle…reaching for the stars sounds like a good plan!!! Coincidently we are excited to see the UW Planetarium has joined the U District Art Walk!!!

We will be featuring cosmic originals by Lis Wright Ivec (whose Moonrise Kingdom is shown above), Merlyn Ahern, Laura Cameron, Ada Everman, Jasmine Collins, Michael Croteau, Jessica Geiger, Tamera Michelson, Keith Waters and more!!!

Monster Blossom

Join us to celebrate spring & the Vernal Equinox with our favorite show of the year, “Monster Blossom”!!! In conjunction with the U District Cherry Blossom Festival (March 13-29th), where our diverse and fabulous neighborhood comes together to honor the iconic cherry blossom trees on the UW campus, we celebrate with some of our favorite local artists showing their appreciation of the sacred Sakura!!! We are excited to see new works by Oliver Hyde (shown above), Laura Cameron, Lis Wright Ivec, Braden Duncan, Michael Croteau, Jasmin Collins, Ada Everman, Mary Goo & Sean Dunlap that are sure to bring inspiration & wonder.

We will open the show with a live art demo with Laura Cameron & a special candle trunk show with Stefanie of Arcane Arts who will showcasing a very special cherry blossom candle just for the festival!!!

Snacks & libations will be flowing, please join us!!! We are part of the U District Art Walk so check out www.udistrictartwalk.org for more venues. The Blossoms will be at peak that weekend so a jaunt to the campus may be a must ~ show us pics of the blooms and get discounts on merch!

“The Cat’s Meow”

Join us for the Cat’s Meow opening January 16 & running thru February 19th. This is a special show honoring a very wonderful little lady, Iris, my magick kitty who so sadly left me in December-it was a difficult holiday season for sure. Hoping to bring a little joy and a lot of healing thru art!!!

The eternal love we share with our furry companions should always be honored so this is a great excuse to celebrate our feline friends and share lots of cat art!!!
Local artists Ruth Ann Sellars, Oliver Hyde, Lis Wright Ivec, Ada Everman, Braden Duncan and more will be showing original paintings, there will be hand sculpted kittens by Keith Waters as well as prints and cards available & lots of cat statuary too.
