Ad Astra

Celebrating the cosmos is the theme of this month’s art show “Ad Astra”. With all of the amazing astronomical events and worldly troubles these days this felt just right, reaching to the stars and astral bodies for inspiration & guidance. Striving for success through struggle…reaching for the stars sounds like a good plan!!! Coincidently we are excited to see the UW Planetarium has joined the U District Art Walk!!!

We will be featuring cosmic originals by Lis Wright Ivec (whose Moonrise Kingdom is shown above), Merlyn Ahern, Laura Cameron, Ada Everman, Jasmine Collins, Michael Croteau, Jessica Geiger, Tamera Michelson, Keith Waters and more!!!

Artist Reception: Friday, May 15, 5-7:30 pm in collaboration with the U District Art Walk, check www.udistrictartwalk.org. for more details and venues!

Show runs thru June 18th.

Also we have the 55th Annual U District Street Fair on May 16th & 17th !!!! Join us for an entire weekend of creative shenanigans!!!

We still do require masks to be worn inside the shoppe & are keeping the covid safety protocols in place:)
