Part of the Les Femmes Fatales show!

Les Femmes Fatales is a collection exploring the multi-faceted power, energy, perseverance and beauty of the feminine spirit… that unbound, unstoppable force of intuition, nature, and harmonic resonance that inately calls forth strength in sensitivity, balances the deep ancestral roots of a resolute will against all odds, and the powerful allure of beauty, complexity, and knowledge in a world run amok with the banal stupidity of evil.

Exploring female subjects found in the shadowy corners of pop-culture horror as well as society as a whole, the theme of the ‘killer femme’ is depicted as more of the ‘innately powerful woman’. In this feminine archetype, I have aimed to showcase in a variety of artistic styles and mixed-media approaches a highlight of the breadth, adaptability, edginess, complexity (and sometimes elegant simplicity) of the fluid beauty and power of the feminine spirit in her various guises of strength.
