Welcome to Gargoyles Statuary
Seattle's source for Gargoyles and Pagan, Mystical, and Gothic Statuary.
Gargoyles Statuary has been offering a vast array of gargoyles and pagan, Celtic, metaphysical, and esoteric art and gifts in our unique location in the heart of the U-District since 1992. We feature classic gargoyles, Egyptian statues, gods and goddesses, hand-made creatures, monsters and winged guardians in plaster, concrete and resin for the home and garden. The designs can be contemplative, fierce, humorous, satirical or whimsical -- but most of all intriguing to both gargoyle lover and curious bystander. Enjoy our online presence and please come by for a visit if you're in Seattle!
We have tried to preserve some of the atmosphere of our Seattle location

The Atwelle Confession
a new book by local author Joel Gordonson.
We are celebrating the release of this macabre tale of ancient gargoyles and murder! Set during both the rule of Henry VIII and current times, this bizarre mystery is a fabulous read of historical fiction. We are excited to host a short talk and book-signing with Joel Gordonson.
7-9 pm on Friday October 13th.
Books will be available too!
Come and discover the mystery and intrigue that lurks within the Atwelle Abbey!
The Atwelle Confession is an “inventive, centuries-spanning mystery from Gordonson…the suspense raised by the gargoyle carvings and how they might tie into the murders makes the pages fly in the last third of the book.”
“The Atwelle Confession is a unique representation of the medieval church and the controversy between Henry VIII and the Pope. It definitely made me want to journey to England and look up St. Clement's Church to see those ominous and creepy gargoyles holding up the roof.”
